Treasured by thursday4/29/2023 ![]() Still, they made a beautiful couple, and when both of them gave in into their real feelings it was just lovely. Life is tough, you know it, so deal with it. But then she would act out like an immature girl having a tantrum when she got her feelings “hurt” and I wanted to smack her and tell her to grow the hell up. At times I loved her, how she was getting over the ordeal she went through… and how she stood up to all the crap that started flying her way after marrying Hunter. I’m still kind of on the fence with Gabi. When we get to see what he went through in his life it almost explains why he can be such an asshat. I hated Hunter, loved him, despised him and love him again harder. I had a blast reading Treasured by Thursday. I’m not talking anymore about the plot because it’s just too good to give anything away. Well, they are strongly attracted to each other, but at first, they don’t really like one another… and as their contract is for an 18 months marriage, it doesn’t really matter.īut when secrets start to come out and they get to know each other, they realize their mutual beneficial contract wasn’t as foolproof as they thought, and soon enough “unwanted” feelings begin to blossom. When Gabi turns him down, he not only decides to ignore her decision, but he investigates her, finds dirt about her (that’s not actually hers but related to her late husband) and blackmails her into marrying him. Hunter is the hunkiest most asshole-ish billionaire H I’ve read. When a gorgeous eligible billionaire bachelor asks them for their services she takes the meet but finds him un-qualified to be their client. So Gabi (whose back story I’m guessing was part of a previous book) is working as a kind of matchmaker for one of her friend’s company. I really have no idea how I missed this complete series, but I’m rectifying that ASAP, and although this book can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone I’m sure it would’ve been fantastic if I had read all the previous couple’s stories. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.Īrranged marriages, blackmail, extortion, an evil twin, an evil diseased ex-husband, an evil drug lord, car explosions, kidnappings, secret babies… yes, all of this happened in just one book. This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence. But when their marriage of convenience becomes downright dangerous, Hunter must decide how far to take his vow to honor and protect Gabi forever. These days, he has a secret reason to settle down, at least for a while-and he thinks the sensual and sassy Gabi will fit the bill perfectly. ![]() Hunter Blackwell: Only his bank account is bigger than his ruthless ability to obtain anything he wants. But marriage to a man like that could never last…or could it? When Gabi refuses to be his temporary wife, Hunter forces her hand with an offer she can’t refuse. An elite matchmaker at Alliance, she’s great at crunching numbers, but something doesn’t add up with her latest prospective client: a billionaire bad boy with his own secrets. She believes that fairy tales are for other people. Gabriella Masini: She’s a woman haunted by her past, with the scars to prove it. The seventh and final tale in the dazzling, heartwarming, pulse-racing Weekday Brides series. Published by Montlake Romance on August 18th 2015
